SGI Signs Joint Statement on Human Rights

On March 10, the NGO Working Group on Human Rights Education and Learning, to which the SGI (Soka Gakkai International) belongs, delivered a joint statement titled “COVID-19, human rights and youth” during the 46th session of the UN Human Rights Council, held at the UN Office at Geneva. The statement calls on Member States to concretely address the impact of the pandemic on human rights and implement the Plan of Action of the fourth phase of the World Programme for Human Rights Education.
