Faith NGOs Commemorate UN Day

On October 24, Hiro Sakurai, director of the SGI Office for UN Affairs, spoke at an online meeting of faith-related NGOs commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. Mr. Sakurai highlighted the importance of interfaith collaboration and the role religious communities play in connecting civil society and the UN. The event brought together some 70 participants.
