Buddhist Study Exam in South Korea

On April 25, more than 7,000 Soka Gakkai members throughout South Korea took an elementary level Buddhist study exam. The exam covered essays on Nichiren’s writings, as well as three of his letters from The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin: “Lessening One’s Karmic Retribution,” “Three Tripitaka Masters Pray for Rain” and “On Attaining Buddhahood in This Lifetime.”
