Survivors Share Testimonies on Anniversary of Atomic Bombings

On August 6 and 9 respectively, Soka Gakkai members in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, commemorated the anniversary of the atomic bombing of the cities, hosting meetings at which survivors shared their testimonies. The meeting in Hiroshima, an online event, was organized by the Soka Gakkai Women’s Peace Committee. On August 13, the Soka Gakkai Youth Division in Japan hosted a meeting  at the Soka Gakkai Headquarters in Tokyo to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the end of World War II and renew their commitment to work for peace.
