Signatures Collected for Nuclear Abolition

In December 25, the Seikyo Shimbun reported that the Soka Gakkai Peace Committee had collected 402,301 signatures for the International Signature Campaign in Support of the Appeal of the Hibakusha for the Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. Combining these with previously collected signatures, more than 610,000 will be submitted to the UN in early 2021. The Soka Gakkai Women’s Peace Committee and youth members supported the campaign at the grassroots level.
