On December 8, president of the Sant'Egidio Foundation for Peace and Dialogue, Andrea Bartoli, visited the Soka Gakkai Headquarters in Tokyo and met with Soka Gakkai President Minoru Harada and SGI Women’s Leader Yumiko Kasanuki. Dr. Bartoli commended Soka Gakkai’s approach to tackling global issues based on a belief in the goodness in all human beings. President Harada expressed the desire to further collaborate on global issues such as the abolition of nuclear weapons and climate change.
