Run for Peace Held Across Malaysia

From September 5 to 14, Soka Gakkai Malaysia held Run for Peace, a noncompetitive, biennial event, at 22 locations across the country. This year’s theme was “Peace starts with me—ActNOW for SDGs!” On September 6, in Kuala Lumpur, over 10,000 people joined the run, which was also attended by numerous guests, including government officials.

First launched in 2005, the event brings together people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, with a focus on young people, to build friendships and promote a peaceful and sustainable world.
