On September 8, Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG) held a webinar on SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s 2021 peace proposal, joined by over 13,000 members and guests including medical workers and government officers. A panel discussion was held among the Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Padma Shri Randeep Guleria, the Founder and CEO of Teach for India Shaheen Mistri, the Founder and Chairperson of the Impulse NGO Network Hasina Kharbhih, the Founder and CEO of iKure Sujay Santra, BSG Chairperson Vishesh Gupta, and the head of external relations for BSG Rashi Ahuja. Dr. Guleria stressed the concept of “leaving no one behind” in addressing the social inequities highlighted by the pandemic, particularly in healthcare, for migrants and in the field of education, where many have been left behind. The webinar marked the launch of BSG's new symposium series “Dialogue in Action: Empowering Humanity.”
