First Soka Gakkai Center Opens in Colombia

On September 7 and 8, Soka Gakkai members in Colombia held meetings to celebrate the opening in Bogotá of the country’s first Soka Gakkai center. New leadership appointments were also announced.

In 2023, Soka Gakkai of Colombia was recognized as a religious entity by the government, 30 years after President Daisaku Ikeda's first visit to the country.
