Young women from across Panama who attended the culture festival on July 26, where those present were encouraged to view hardships and challenges as opportunities to transform their lives.
In July, Soka Gakkai youth around the world held events marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the young women’s and young men’s divisions. On July 26, SGI-Panama held a youth culture festival at its center in Panama City, attended by members from across the country. The event featured a diverse program of dance and musical performances. In Ghana, meetings were held nationwide, and the youth also conducted community initiatives including cleanups and health seminars. Commemorative events were also held in Bolivia, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, New Zealand, Peru and Portugal.
