Taiwan Soka Association Awarded for Cultural Initiatives

On December 27, the Ministry of Education of Taiwan conferred the Arts Education Contribution Award upon Taiwan Soka Association (TSA) in recognition of its contributions to the development of art and culture. TSA has been organizing "mobile museums" and concerts to introduce the works of famous artists at schools. The award ceremony was held in Taipei and was attended by Minister of Education Pan Wen-Chung. On December 1, the Ministry of the Interior also conferred a Gold Award upon TSA for its contributions to society in the fields of art, education and the environment. TSA was among 10 organizations to receive the award.
