Women’s Peace Committee Survey on Child Rights

Japan 2021

On August 18, the Soka Gakkai Women's Peace Committee in Japan released the results of an educational survey it conducted online between November 2020 and April 2021. The survey was carried out as part of a campaign in support of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The survey of more than 19,600 respondents highlighted the importance of support from partners, family, friends and the local community in preventing parents and caregivers from using physical and verbal violence toward children.
