Supporting Areas Affected by Torrential Rains

In response to recent torrential rainfall and related flooding in western Japan, the Soka Gakkai set up emergency communication centers at its headquarters in Tokyo and in local regions. On August 15, local Soka Gakkai leaders in Hiroshima Prefecture visited members whose homes were damaged by flooding. On August 16, leaders in Saga Prefecture encouraged local members affected by flooding who were also impacted by torrential rainfall two years ago.
