On January 22, Soka University of America (SUA) held an online panel discussion to mark Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. Panelists included former Ambassador to the UN Andrew J. Young, a comrade of Dr. King in the American civil rights movement, and Dr. Hortense J. Spillers of Vanderbilt University. Some 300 students, alumni and faculty joined the event.
